How to make Fried Chicken Wings the Haitian Way

Who does not love Chicken Wings? that's one reason I would never be a vegetarian. I love Chicken wings very much... this recipe that I am about to share with you, was given to me from a young guy who used to cook for my mom's cousin. He really knew how to cook!!!

I am not a big fan of the flour on chicken wings, but with this recipe the crust is so crispy that it blends with the chicken. I don't like Kentucky Fried Chicken because sometimes it's not cooked all the way ewwwww.... I hate that!!! I love my chicken to be well cooked and crispy.

My mom bought me some fresh chicken wings, so I thought I would make a video on how to prepare it.

First thing, you will need to wash those chicken wings, wash them well, at least 3 times with 1 cup of sour orange or vinegar.

Pour 1 cup of 1% low fat or any type of milk in your fridge
1 cup of evaporated milk, I like to use Carnation!
1/2 cup of Vinegar
Some Salt and pepper to taste
I like to add some cayenne pepper to give it a nice kick :-)
I also like to add some all purpose seasoning "Optional"
Let the meat marinate in this nice seasoning bath over night.
Next day, just heat up your pan with some vegetable or corn oil, then dredge your chicken wings in some flavored flour, and put that in the pan. Add some butter in that oil, it will make the crust super delicious!
***The way I flavor my flour is very easy! I just add some some salt, old bay (That's it!)
After you fry your chicken wings 10 min on each side, place them in the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes. Like I told you guys before, I like my meat well cooked! My husband likes to eat them before I put them in the oven. Also, by putting the wings in the oven, the heat extracts and drains most of the oil (Healthier).
Your chicken will be ready to serve!
